Either it is true that he is God, or that he is the craziest leader in history...

Those were the words of a fellow teacher friend of mine, when I told him the story of Jesus.

Many other spiritual leaders told their followers “I can guide you to the truth,”  “I can show you the way” ... but not one of them said “I am the way, I am the truth or I am life.”  The only one that said so is Jesus ... and He demonstrated it.

Could Anyone Else Have Been the Messiah? Our quick analysis of just seventeen of the hundreds of Messianic prophecies has shown a number of things to be true. First, it is obvious that the seventeen detailed prophecies, made five centuries before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, were fulfilled with absolute precision in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The question to consider is this: what are the chances that all seventeen of these predictions occurred by chance rather than by the plan and will of God? The combined probability against these seventeen predictions occurring is equal to

1 chance in 4,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 or
1 chance in 4.8 trillion × 1 billion × 1 trillion.

There is only 1 chance in 4.8 trillion × 1 billion × 1 trillion that the Old Testament prophets could have accurately made these seventeen predictions about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by chance alone.1

God created man in his own image and likeness, without sin.  He also gave us a very important gift – freedom of choice.  This gift could bless us tremendously, but it could, likewise, make us accountable.

To Adam was given the command not to eat of the fruit, but he chose to ignore it and eat the fruit.  At that moment, sin entered the world through one man, Adam.  Then, the only way to take sin away is with another man's blood, but with pure blood, without sin.

Who in the world is without sin?  Nobody.  Nonetheless, God in his great love never forgot us, let alone gave us what we deserved.  It was quite the opposite.  He had mercy on men.  He gave us the cure …

What is the cure for sin?

The only one without sin in the universe is God.  He is the only one who can take sin away, but it was necessary for Him to be human so that through his blood the sins would be removed of all who believe in Him.

He decided to shed himself and become one of us.  Who among us would dare to do that?  Who would stop being human and become a fly to save all the flies?  Not one person.

But God did so.  He came to this world to be borne by Mary, not with Joseph’s seed, but with the Spirit of God instead.  Meaning, He is a man but also God.

His compassionate and sinless life was the way.  Crucified on the cross, He took the place of each one of us.  He was holy, sinless.  There was no reason for Him to hang on the cross.  However, He was there taking your place and receiving your punishment.  He was there to die and show everyone that He still had power over death, and nothing and nor any one could take His life.  He, himself, gave his life to reclaim it later.  Then, as He resurrected from the dead, we too would have life (after this life).  Only this time we would have eternal life together with our creator Jesus.

What should I do?

First, you must acknowledge your sins and repent.  It sounds very easy, but you will notice that your pride will try to hinder you by saying:  “Well, yes I have sinned a little, but my neighbor is worse”.  If we compare ourselves to other men, we could look very good, but the comparison is not with them but with God.  You must realize, then, that if you compare your life with that of Jesus, we are very sinful.  At this moment, you can ask God to give you strength to overcome your pride and admit that you need Him.

Ask God in prayer (talk to God) to fill your life and your family too.  His arms are open to receive you.  He loves you so much that He had already been looking for you and talking to you.

It was no coincidence that you read these paragraphs today.  God used this website to get to you.

If you do not know how to pray to God, below is something that can help you.  Remember that prayer is something spontaneous; a talk with the One who loves you so much, that even being as perverse as you are, He gave his life to rescue you.

Lord Jesus, now that I have heard about you, I realize that I have been running from the only one who has loved me.  Thank you for coming to this world and showing me your love by dying on the cross for me and washing away my sins.  Now I know your great power in resurrecting from death to give me eternal life together with you.  Please take control of my life and make me the person You want me to be.  Amen.

Now that the Holy Spirit dwells in you, I recommend that you tell people, read your Bible and go to a church where the Bible is studied.

I would love to hear from you and meet you.  If you wish, send us an email and tell us your story.
